Default Harbor Freight Motor cycle lift

I have seen it posted here on a few occasions, and I have seen it in the adds, for sale at $299, with coupon. That is a pretty good deal, since they are suppose to be $599 reg. I just received an add where they are on sale for $299, without the coupon. That means that you can use a 20% off coupon and get it for $240+ tax. Since you normally cannot use double coupons on an item (lord knows I have tried), this seems like a good deal. Just thought I would let you guys know.
Now, anyone want to let me hold $240

I've heard about guys buying them there for under $100 on a coupon...you have a pic of this one? It doesn't sound like the same thing.

I believe he is referring to the table lift. The one for less than $100 is the m/c jack. Usually in yellow, I have this one and works well.

    Okay...makes sense...jack /lift. That's what I was talking about, the yellow one.

Sorry for the confusion. This is the red lift table. Not the motorcycle jack. Yes, the jacks are pretty cheap and good. You can find a good used one on craigslist for around $50-70. But this is the lift table.

They won't allow you to use the coupon on a sale item. Read the fine print on it. Also states it can't be used with certain items including lifts. Already tried it.

That is not quite true here. They will let you use the 20% coupon on sale items, just not items that are on sale with another coupon. In other words, you cannot use combined coupons, but you can use the coupon with a for sale item. I did that on the trailer that I bought about 3 weeks ago. It was normally $369, on sale for $299. I used the coupon and got another $60 off. I have used this at the Durham and Raleigh locations.

They won't do that here. Must be at the discretion of individual stores.

I got the yellow one for $70 a couple of months ago on sale with a coupon. Works pretty good but the release on it is weird.

I've had the red lift table from HF for a couple of years now. Once you have one, if you have the room, you will wonder how you ever got along without it. I had the yellow jack first, thought no need for the lift with this puppy, but I did not feel that way afterwards. About the only thing I use the jack for anymore is for front tires. I put a different wheel chock on the front of mine. The one that comes with it is kind of a joke.

I had to do a little calculating to figure out where to put the chock to be able to get the long Raider on there as well as the relatively short Eliminator at the same time. Key was keeping the rear wheel over the removable panel for rear tire R & R. YOu can also back the bike into this chock, then lift underneath the frame with a jack to work on the front tire. I've actually put the jack on top of the lift and used it that way, a little shaky, but it worked. This is a drive in chock, you can get off the bike and it will pretty much stay there unless you have a real skinny front tire.

I think I paid $349.00 for mine, but it has been a couple of years ago. Make sure you have some help to get it off the truck, or however you haul it, that thing is pretty heavy and comes in a big plywood crate.

Eat some Wheaties, I unloaded mine myself! Actually having a lift and a jack comes in handy. There are plenty of things they both come in handy for.

Yeah, I unloaded mine myself as well. Used some blocks and kind of walked it down off the back of a 4x4 truck. Would have been smarter to have some help though. I'm not as stout as I once was, but I can still outwork most any two 21 year olds.

I have a jack similar to this to use with my lift table. I was lucky and found it on the Craiglist for $40.

The Craigslist has been great for these types of things. I have the old higher capacity HF lift table(pneumatic) with the side extensions which I got off the Craigslist for $400. There is someone selling the HF hydraulic lift table on the San Diego Craigslist for $200. http://sandiego.craigslist.org/csd/mcy/3339207928.html The only time I use my old jack now is for my chopper. I use the lift table for my M109R and Burgman.

our harbor freight had their tent sale this weekend and had the lift table on as for 299. of course they only got 1 table lift for the tent sale event and the clerk told me no rain checks when i asked to purchase and they were out of stock. the flyer said in bold print at the top NO RAIN CHECKS....but on the top line of the fine print at the bottom it said rain checks would be given if asked for.....so I GOT ME A RAIN CHECK for whenever these things get back in stock.

has anyone put wheels on these things ?

As much as they were pushing the sale of those tables this weekend, I just had to show them that they are on sale (with coupon) in the cycle world magazine for $299 all the time.

I am not an cycle world mag. salesman, but if there are coupons out there, check their magazine first. There coupons are always better than the ones that they have in the HF flyer.

    That is true.

I guess I don't think about that quite as much since all of my bikes EXCEPT the Raider I can back the rear tire into the drive in chock and then jack up the front end. But, that is not going to work on a large rear tire bike like the M109. That actually works quite nicely as it holds the bike stabil, you can tie it down somewhat, and it gets it up to a nice working level. But, no good with a big back tire.

They have wheels on them. Two that rotate, and two that are locked. You can move a large bike around pretty well with it in the raised position as long as it is tied down some way. There are two little screw down adjusters to lock it in place. If you try to ride on without the wheels locked it will try to roll out from under you, not good.
