Oh I had left the pillion seat at a friend's house, so took the cowl off to go pick it up. :)

There are a few of us here in SD. Watch the California portion of the forum for our group rides. We have some great people in this area that all get together when we can. Some come down from LA, OC, Inland Empire, Etc. Good to have you on board. Nice looking bike! Enjoy.

Readily will I display the intestinal fortitude required to fight onto the Ranger objective and complete the mission, though I be the lone survivor.

    Default My contribution GREY

Ok all here is mine with 34,500 and climbing. I ride with a club in my hometown and all other 47 brothers are HD riders but for another 9 owner and myself it's fun. They hate our bikes and when strangers pass our brothers HD's (4 of which are 30 + thousand dollars) and walkup with jaws open and drooling over ours it just sets the bar mood all the better for the owners of THE BEASTS. By the way the cute addition on the 9 is the only thing the strangers drool over more LOL. Click image for larger version.

O.K., after over a month of inactivity, I think is time to bring this thread back to life and to the forefront... Here is my attempt to continue to motivate others to follow by posting pictures of Greys to this thread...

Angry Bump for the ugliest color put on a 9!

I just looked through this entire thread. I must say, the grey is w/o a doubt the ugliest color to ever be put on a 9. If it was a darker charcoal, it would have been so much nicer then the primer it actually looks like. My only regret now is, that when I had my bike painted, I didn't change the color!

If I had the money, I'd repaint it. Don't get me wrong, I love the air brush work, but it would look a lot better on a different base color.

IT'S NOT ABOUT HOW FAST YOU GET THERE, IT'S ABOUT THE RIDE ITSELF. TAKE YOUR TIME AND ENJOY IT!!

I really like the grey and black theme. I have seen a few up here so far as I have perused through, but does anyone have some more pics of the black on grey? I have been thinking about using some black plasti-dip on my forks and wheels just to see if I want to put more money into maybe powder coating or spraying stuff black. Does the plasti-dip look good enough to put up there? Would it be hard to get the plasti-dip off of the semi-rough machined forks?

MODS LIST: Scorpion Tips, 250 Rear, 160 Front, Lanzar MC90 Speaker System, HID 8K Kit, Spike Flame Stem Mirrors, Windshield, 230 White LEDs, Chrome Billet Grill Mod, Chrome Tank Trim
