    Default Cool 109 youtube video

Ran across this video and thought it was cool. Shows a bunch of 9's and a Rocket 3 on some amazing roads. They get some really unique and cool camera angles of the 9.

Yep, he's making the bike need even more angle to make the turn. He'll learn the hard way soon enough by the looks of it...

I couldn't watch it. The guy on the nine does not know how to ride.

That was painful to watch. Maybe he was leaning the wrong way just so he could drag pegs easier, or so he could lean the right way to gain more room if he hit a curve too fast. Wrong way to ride though and just looks bad.

That's all I could think about was how he was throwing the bike into the corners instead of leaning in himself. I don't think I could ride with someone like that.

I like the disclaimer at the beginning. These bikes are not standard, they have expert riders, do not copy. Please. Red helmet guy just wants people to notice him. After 4:45 I had seen enough. Its a group ride, not a road race.

I don't think he'd make it through some of those coast range twisties we have riding like that. Always on the edge of losing it...One good bump and he'd be done. btw - I will have to drill and tap my right board for a new angle sensor. I ground it smooth and then some. That aluminum sure wears fast. I might still have enough on the left side to grab with vice grips. Good times.

if you look at most 109 riders they all do that lean out when cornering...not quite as severe.

    Those that can't,
    Watch or manage,
    Those that can!

That lean is taught to be used on slow tight turns, say parking lots....slide left on the seat, turn right, and visa versa. That's the technique for figure 8's. He seems timid on those high speed turns, although it does get the bike leaning. And that's from a newbie!

It was hard to watch, I've ridden with quite a few 9's and none of them rode that bad. I know I didn't when I had my 9. If I were the rider I wouldn't want that on YouTube. I like my ride recordings so I can critique myself but I never load my errors for the world to see. Just a few weeks ago I blew a curve pretty bad. I rolled in hot and the curve was all tar snake, I let off the throttle but I was in 6th gear which means no engine braking. I then grabbed the brakes and slowed my speed, I also had to stand my bike up a bit. I never left my lane but I sure as hell edited that out of my video, lesson learned.
