The cost of the film is about $8 per 12"X 24", the thing is the smallest roll I can buy is $350, so I am trying to see how many people would be interested. I'm not looking to make money on the material just pay for as much as you need and shipping. I will charge a small fee if you want me to put it on for you but really I think all of us can figure out how to put it on. Please let me know if you are interested in this thread as right now I am more looking for a head count than actual orders.

Throwerb, have you ever heard of Armor Coat. (Armorcoatusa.com) This stuff is what would
protect the chins. It runs about $159.00 qt which is a 2 part mixture. Granted it would be
dificult for everybody to go out and get it done. But this product is what it says it is.
Just thought i'd throw it out there. Watch the Web video if you get a chance. I know it's pricy and
not practical for 1 person, but just another option for a high end paint job. A buddy of mine is
going to have the front of his corvette done with this stuff. If applied right it looks just like clear
coat paint and does't crack or yellow.
Custom Duck Covers, Hand Made license Plate Holder. Kuruakyn Pegs, Signals, Grips,
Mirrors. Drilled exhaust. K&N's, Corbin Seat, 160 upgrade. Chrome Hub and polished wheels.

    Bikes getting repainted nerd!!.haha
I keep getting picked on about my bike so i got a small loan to get it repainted. Since i have to replace all the tins i figured i might as well do the busa mod since all the peices tally up to what the busa mod costs.

Hmm.....that armor clearcoat stuff sounds perfect. If you end up getting some I'd be down to share some costs and have mine done I'm sure a quart would cover a few spoilers?

If I can get a pattern, I can cut it on my vinyl cutter with clear vinyl.

FWIW, we had the 3M film put on the front of my wife's vehicle when we bought it new and the stuff now has like thousands of little cracks in it. Instead of putting the film on the chin, I would have it painted with that heavy orange peel looking paint the auto makers use on the rocker panels. That's what I'm having mine painted with this winter....it's supposed to be tough as nails, kinda like Rhino Coat....

Mine is chrome, been on since they first came out with them. I clean it with hot water only, and keep it waxed. No damage is evident on mine at this time, none. No chips or scratches. See no need for this protective film for the chrome unit. Painted, sure thing.
