Default New Jug and Derby Covers

Posted prototypes a couple weeks ago. Here's some pictures of the variations that came out of that.

Question: I have the Evil Inside cover, and my question is this- The LED light that is inside of the cover, what does it look like? and I noticed that the cover is open is there anything that can be placed benind the cover to cover up the opening?

    Thanks in advance.......

You can put a 6 or 9 LED flexible strip inside the cavity behind the cover. Should be enough room to run the wire out the bottom of the cover and back under the bike. That cavity is just that..a cavity. You can paint it, put foil tape, almost anything you like to create a backer if you like. Hope this helps.

I guess it has been a while. I got all excited when I saw the beginning of your post about "New Jugs". I couldn't figure out what a derby cover was doing in the same post. Either way, really nice.

Yes, you have options. Originally, this cover recessed in an 1/8th inch and looked bad in many people's opinion. I talked to Bill at a bike week in Maryland and told/showed him what I did and suggested it. So, I am not sure if this latest version is recessed or flush so check with him.

If it is recessed, you can get many colors online of 1/8th inch plexiglass. Trace it, and grind it down with a bench grinder. Drill the holes and I needed one little washer on each one to make it perfect. If it isn't recessed you can probably still do it, but it might take a little more work fitting it in there.

I have since taken it off and sold it to hyperpete. You can also get clear plexiglass and light it up behind that if it is still recessed. I chose not to light it as it looks bad having the wire come out like that.
