    Default Dyna Beads

Is it possible for beads to get stuck in valve stem causing air to leak when cap is removed? If so, is there a trick to clear them?

Yes. Just blow air back into the stem and it should clean them out.

we had that happen on the 45 degree valve stem and it sucked that we had to actually pull the core out and remove one bead jammed in there.only good part we were home in the driveway.

I believe they say to check with stem up so the beads don't get stick. Good news is you only need a core removal tool and it isn't major surgery.

They tell you to replace the valve cores with special ones, but i do not think any one has done it.

Must be a pretty rare occurence. I run beads in 6 different vehicles and have yet to experience a bead stuck in a valve stem.

I've been running beads for a while now too. Love them and no more weights for the stupid tire changer dude to spin on my wheel and scratch up the finish. Never had a problem with them in the stem.

    Thumbs up

When checking tire pressure just make sure the valve stem is at 3 or 9 o'clock position. That will keep the beads out of the stem. Also just to be safe, blow a quick blast of air into the tire before checking.

    Hope this helps
