    Cool Just to update

Well ... I haven't taken it to the dealer yet.
What I did do was take it out on a long, straight highway and ride it with the rpm's up in the 3500-4000 range for a few miles.
(we used to call this "blowing the sut out")
Anyway - this seemed to help.
It seems this engine wants to run faster than I normally ride.
I took it out on the freeway today, and rolled it on a few times.
It's amazing how it will pull right right past 120mph.
And then it runs good at low rpm's for a while, then starts loading up again and needs to run.

Notice any change in gas mileage?

As a matter of fact ..Yes.

I got 42.28 mpg on my little run today.
That was a significate increase from the 33-36mpg I had been getting.
I have no idea why this happened - but I'm not complaining.

It's getting close to the 600 mile mark - time for the 1st service.
I hate the thoughts of losing my bike for a few days (I hope it's only a few days), but when it hits 600 - it has to go back.
I hope what ever is wrong is a quick fix.

But -- I can see that WHEN this bike runs right, it's got POWER! (I guess torque is probably the right word)

Save yourself a few hundred $$$ that they'll charge you for doing nothing but an oil change. do it yourself

Good idea - if it doesn't void the warrenty.
And .. I have seen the filters for sale on ebay, and other places.
They SAY it needs Suzuki oil because of the clutch.
So, what do you guys use - and, any clutch problems?

It can't void the warranty doing your own oil change. As far as oil, lots a choices. Just make sure it is NOT energy conserving. Myself, been using Honda GN-4 10/40 cuz I had some left over.

    Thanks Big-B!
Sounds like it does need to be an oil made for motorcycles though. Is that about right?
