    Default New BELL RS1 Helmet

Well I was looking for a new lid when I was at the MotoGP two weeks ago. BELL had a booth there and had the RS1 discounted down to $280. I added a smoked shield for $30. It showed up today! I really like the latch to lock or vent the shield.

    Thumbs up

You can't go wrong with a bell, I have the Bell Star and love it! It's less than 3 lbs. and it's a 2xl. I like your price better than what I paid for my Star!

They had the Star's there too. I just couldn't pony up the 6 hundos for the Carbon Fiber one I really wanted.

I was looking at that helmet but it didn't seem to fit right. Almost bought a Bell Star but they were out of my size. Would have cost me $549.

So I picked up a HJC RPS-10 in matte black and a dark smoke shield for $278 delivered.
rode with it to work tonight and it was very quite and the air flow was top notch. Very light.

I have a Bell Star and the only thing I don't like about it is all the wind noise....I would like a quieter helmet...

I was told the RS1 is quieter than the Star. The Star was made for the track and the RS1 was designed more for everyday riding.

Yea it is a little noisey However, there are alot of advantages. Very Lite-Air flows very well threw it at all speeds, and very well at low speeds-and at HIGH speeds there's no Buffering with it, It cuts threw the air with no fighting your equipment! And i'd buy another
