anyways, im not ready to call his price "nuts" just yet. we often forget just how much money we have into our bikes ! add in your labor and its an eye opener !

The problem is, the return on most, if not all mods, is pennies on the dollar. Much the worse if he paid someone else to do them. For maximum return, he's probably better off parting out his mods and selling his bike separately

Edit: Shyte, not quick enough, Bernie beat me to it. Must try harder next time....

Hey, its his bike, he can ask what he feels is right. what he receives depends on how good of a negotiator he may be.

Its not the like or dislike of literacy. Its the point of picking on others.

Always the er. Or maybe not.

Is there going to be an anti-bullying campaign on the forum? I thought no one was immune to our teasing.

i had a response all typed up and ready about literacy, intelligence, education etc etc, and took another look at the pictures that the guy posted with that beautiful background he chose to show off his pride and promptly deleted that response and typed this one instead. this picture was worth a lot more than any words i could ever type.

V8, you are so right. I didn't even look beyond the bike but now that you've pointed it out I'm seriously laughing. That bike is the pride and joy of the entire neighborhood, it has to be.

Sorry...but is very hard to give respect to someone that isn't educated. A little time an effort in the 3rd grade goes a long way....all the way to graduation. A problem it seems for a lot of young Americans now. Most kids are lazy and do not want to work hard at anything and expect a social system to take care of them. I'm not saying that the guy may not be a respectable person, but reasoning says that cards are not stacked against him...but that HE STACKED THE CARDS AGAINST HIMSELF.

Most of us are fortunate enough on this site to have earned or learned how to afford some luxuries in life...like our 9. I'm not saying that an education = success and no education= failure... but having an education will present you better/more opportunities to succeed.

Sorry for all of that...we had a heavy dose of 3rd and 5th grade homework last night- and I had to explain to my kids why you have to do your best work rather than the minimum...so you can post on CL and not look like a DA.

I wouldn't call the seller insane, a dreamer yes but not insane. The person that pays anywhere near $19k is insane.
