Have not seen that before. But I do believe our military people are required to wear reflective type garments when riding, not 100% sure on that but I'm sure some of our brave men and women on here will chime in.
I have never been required to wear reflective riding gear

When car manufactures went to "daytime driving lights" motorcycles became a lot more invisible. I believe GM led the way with this idiotic idea (in this country). In a lot of the older vehicles, it took an act of congress to turn them off, if you could at all. I just think it would be nice if ONLY bikes were allowed to run headlights during daylight hours. I hate GM
sorry for all this venting
When I was in the military one of the requirements for riding on post was a reflective vest or at minimum a belt. Now you see a lot of jackets that are made in the same pattern as the current uniforms because no sooner than I was out the gate, I was pulling off my vest.

Big Brother is down under as well?![]()
this law is already effective in my country but only applied for motorcycles under 600cc. Not only the vest but it should have your plate # on it and on your helmet and you can't have anything behind you that covers it: IE: a passenger without a vest or a box.
the law is not fully applied but if you find a cop that wants to bug he will apply it to you.
This law appear after a couple of murders committed by hitmen started happening, same method as in colombia, a guy pull right beside you on a scramble all terrain bike, shot you and flee the scene into the heavy traffic. no cop can follow.

2013 Assault weapons ban proposed by that dimwitted thunder c*** Feinstein.
Yeah we are required to wear eye protection with half helmet, long sleeves, high visibility garmet(reflective), if you have a bag you have to have dsomething reflective on it as well if its not a bright color, oh yeah full fingered gloves and over the ankle foot protection. Sucks sometimes but you have to listen to the man or they wont let you ride...USAF
We'll be able to see you blokes all the way up here in Michigan, We might even have to put on sun glasses if the glare get too vivid......
I used to live in AZ and occasionally ride without my helmet. I would wear large yellow sunglasses for eye protection. One night when leaving a old GF's house I had just pulled away from her street to make my 1 mile ride home, my eyes watered up just as I was about to come into a curve. Blinded I knew I was headed towards the curb and in that quick moment I saw my life flash before my eyes and visuallized the accident and the ambulace coming to get me. At the very last second there was a drive way to an aparment complex, I ended up going into it, driving on the sidewalk, and then jumping off of the curb back onto the street. When I came to a stop, I put the kickstand down and got off the bike.
I let my heart rate slow down and I remember patting the bike and telling it in a low voice, "I'm sorry. I forgot who was in charge. I dissrespected you. That will never happen again. Thank you for not killing me tonight."
