In my avatar is Diego the dog, and Bear the ferret.

Bear is my miracle baby, was near death from a blockage of foam he ate, a vet of 20 years thought he was a goner. She still can't figure it out. Big time surgery, $1400. His stomach had turned black from the blockage, which usually means it's dead. He was only about 1-1/2 years old, so his age was on his side. Since then, he has been my furry shadow, like he knows how lucky he was. Who says animals don't learn.

Ferrets are like dogs, they love to hang out and play. I can't even tie my shoes without a wrestling match!
