Default Stealth Intakes and Bully System - Feedback

I installed the Stealth/Bully package to my 2008 C109R. Be sure to follow the instruction step by step...little bit of an IQ test if you don't. The kit is high quality, and the Plug and Play feature is clean and simple. I'm running a stock drilled exhaust, so I'm not getting the full benefit of the system yet (also running the GMAN TRE). Checking into which exhaust to go with. I understand GMAN is working on one to match with this system. I think I'll hold off buying anything until I see what his system is all about.

This kit made a huge difference in the performance of my C109. It runs smoother, pulls A LOT harder in every gear , and it seems to be overall much happier in every riding situation. It's the strangest thing,
the stock set-up just never really felt right. The engine never seemed to be in sync with the gearing or RPM. The engine ran rough at times when changing gears, surging was a problem too. It often felt like it wasn't getting enough air...I've come to learn it wasn't.

The Stealth/Bully system seems to have given the engine the right amount of air, and as a result it runs and performs like a different engine (and bike). The price for the system seemed high at first, but after installing it and seeing how well made it is, AND how it changed the overall personality of the engine and riding experience, I now believe it was money well spent.

I highly recommend this mod for any C109 owner that wants to WAKE-UP their beast. This kit is legit, and the coolest thing about it is...the bike looks totally stock. When that Harley rider, who put major bucks in his Harley, pulls up next to me at the light and thinks I'm running stock...until the light turns green and I disappear in front of him .

Ride safe and remember....four wheels moves the body, and two wheels moves he soul. Fifty8 out!

Once I got used to my C109RT, I was really unhappy with the surging. Felt like shaft jacking or worse. Thought I'd made a big mistake buying the bike.

When I joined this forum, I learned about lean surge and why it existed on our bikes. Bought the TRE and shift bushing first, then went with the Bully blind because I wanted a fix for the 9 not a replacement.

Props to GMAN and his products. If his exhaust is as good as the rest I have purchased, I will probably go with it. I hope he does it in black as well as chrome, I really want to black out as much as possible.

I don't often brag on product lines from a manufacturer on any public forum, so this is a rare complement from me.

Purchased my Bully and Stealth Intakes only a few months ago and very, very happy with them so far.
I had a dealer install them for me during one of my routine maintenance visits and when I dropped the bike of for another routine maintenance before the holiday the mechanic asked me how I liked the bully and intakes and if I thought the bike had more power I told him "oh yeah it is a beast". He told me that he took the bike for a quick ride before the upgrade and after and was surprised how much more power it had after the unit was installed.

I agree with the others and currently waiting to see the Exhaust that Gary has in the works, and will more than likely buy it as it should marry nicely with the Bully and Stealth Intakes. Gary is very passionate with the products he sells. The first time I met him we spent about thirty minutes just talking about what I could do for my C50T as I did not own the C109 at the time. He was very nice and patient with me as I asked question after question and answered each one, I walked away knowing I would one day purchase a Bully unit and Filters, just did not realize it would be for the 109 and not the 50. Still may get one for the 50 but she is currently my back up bike.
My next upgrades are the Gman Exhaust, Corbin Hard Bags and Trunk and Corbin Seats.

your welcome for the kind words as you deserve them
Got a quote a while back for the seats, just have not pulled the trigger yet.
The seat upgrade is definitely something I want to add to the bike.
Just gotta figure out what order I want to do the upgrades in.
So can you get the Hard Bags too?

Gman I hope your new exhaust pipes will work with the Corbin bags. I'm starting to save my pennies now so I can get the pipes, bully controller and stealth intake in one fell swoop (maybe you could put them out as a package if they are designed to work together). If you need a test bike I will volunteer mine between Nov 1 and March 1.

I will no doubt have some type of package deal as they will be dialed in to work together so you just bolt it all on and enjoy!

Thanks for the offer, but my C109RT would be a bit jealous if I used another's to test all the parts again! ;->

    Hey Gary,

Hopefully Santa will be nice to me this year and I'll be able to get my Stealth Intake to go with my Bully controller and Velocity Pro's.
I want a gear position indicator without the TRE too. My last 3 Suzuki street bikes had self-cancelling turn signals and gear position indicators.
