    Default rough paint?

    anyone know what this paint is called? specific name for it besides rough?

    Just joking here, but I'd call it bed liner! Looks like the stuff they spray to seal the things. Not saying it looks bad though! No waxing, no scratches...

    i painted a trailer few weeks ago in hammer tone finish, close but no cigar

    It should have been " is it hammer finish" hard to see on phone.

    haven't used stone guard or some thing like that. I have seen it on something before just can't remember what.

    stone guard is a bit chunkier, i notice alot of harleys have it to on side covers .

    Just a guess think I have seen rocker covers on cars painted in it. And header pipes ( older cars not new jap ones)

    That stuff would be good for my 07. All the black on it is getting nasty from all the winter riding.

    Yep . Used to be called wrinkle coat here in oz .

    I did ,he said its powder coated . Looks a bit rough to be power coated I thought .

    They make all different textures of powdercoat. It's called black mini texture. I keep it on the shelf. Use it on alot of Harley parts.

    The pic is my bike and it's called wrinckle finish .. And all the parts on my bike in that finish is done in wrinckle (powder coat finish ). You can get it a spray can .. The best brand to get it in is( Krylon )

    But for it to last Powder coating is the way to go
