First Bike Show
I was supposed to enter the merchantville car and bike show last week but it was cancelled because of rain. Rain date was today and I wasn't going to enter because I was throwing a party at my house for my mom's 75th birthday. Well I decided it's only 5 minutes from the house and I don't have to hang there the whole time so I registered my bike and went home and commenced the party. Well they had several classes and I didn't want to register in the foreign class or stock or V twin stock. I wanted to see where I really am with my bike so entered in the V twin custom class. At the time I registered I walked around and saw maybe 2 bikes that I thought would be competition, This was 12:30pm and registration was until 3:00. I went back @ around 5:20 and a whole lot more sweet bikes and they were calling winners but my class had already been called. When the classes were done they announced that everyone that entered would get a trophy if they had not already won in their class and they would call the names. He called all the names and I was never called so I say to my son, I must have placed. I see him when he is done and he tells me I took 2nd in V twin custom class. Honestly I was surprised with the caliber of bikes there and I can't be mad that a Vrod took first place. The Vrod was def on another level IMO-his **** was killer, so to take second def makes me happy with where I am at. I know I have more work to do to get on another level but the win was sweet regardless. Sorry didn't get pick's but with all the partying going on at the house I forgot my camera. But here's the hardware
