So every one of you guys suck. Thanks to you I have officialy spent more money on my bike this summer then I have ever on any mods for all of my previous bikes combined. So For topic of conversation I recently made a VERY large purchase (large in my book) and wanted to share my experience.

First off bought I bought a pressure guage from GlowShift Direct.
http://www.glowshiftdirect.com/tinte...ure-gauge.aspx
Called them tuesday afternoon and ordered it on the phone since I feel more comfortable with the direct ordering thing.
Recieved the gauge in my mailbox late Wednessday morning. Mind you I paid for standard deliver, no rush, no 2 day/over night anything. STANDARD USPS mail and I got the gauge in <24hrs from time I ordered it.:yourock:

Next I have been reading about everyone getting their Arnott air rides from JS Cycle since it was the cheapest. And yes it is the cheapest.
http://www.jsmotorcycle.com/home.php?cat=29

So I called JSmotorcycle and they said they could get it to me by tuesday of next week with the holiday. Well after doing some math, I realized after shipping it is only roughly $15 cheaper then customdynamics. So before ordering I called Customdynamics and they said they could have it to me by friday.
With my work schedule I wanted to take advantage of a few days off so for $15 extra guess what was waiting for me when I got home today?? :a18:

So to end a long rant... 2 great companies to deal with as far as personable and quick delivery.
Glow Shift Direct
and
Custom Dynamics.

jsmotorcycle was REALLY nice to deal with as well for the record.

I'm getting a vibration while under mild accl. in 3,4,5 gears, none on decel. I put my bike up on the jack, engine off in any gear I have about 1/4 turn "play/rock back n forth" at the rear tire. That seems to be a bit much "stackup" play in the drive train to me. I'm worryed about the wear of the ujoint, splines, ect. My bike is an '08 with 40,125 miles. To pull the shaft do I need to pull the whole swingarm or does the left side unbolt near the axle flange?:tools:

The Yamaha truck is at Team Powersports in Garner on friday and saturday. I went by during lunch to test out the closest things to what I have (kawasaki zzr1200 & M109). I tried the yamaha fjr1300 first. The wind shield and risers were nice. Power was really smooth, and the shaft drive couldn't be beat. The kawasaki zzr1200 has more power and better seats (mine has a corbin, so technically I cheated). Because of the seating on the fjr, I was forced forward on the tank and my knees were against the fairing. In comparison with the kawasaki concours 14, the fjr doesn't stand a chance. The lighter weight was nice, but it fell short in power and comfort.
The I took out the vmax to compare it with the M109R (muscle cruiser). All I can say is that if you could put the drive train from the Vmax and put it in the M109R, you would have the perfect bike. If you feel good about the power and handling on your M109, please never take a ride on the Vmax. It will smoke the tires with just the openning of the throttle in 1,2, & 3rd. gear:o. Now, I have owned a zx14 which is faster, but to do it in an upright position is unreal. and the monster tack with shift light makes me think I am at the starting line in my old 5.0 fox body mustang:D. The Shifting was very smooth, and the seat was not great, but better than the Vrod. My only problem with the Vmax (besides the 19K sticker) is that it is so darn ugly (my opinion only). It is kind of like taking a body that is a 10, and putting a head on it that ranks a 2. Over all, I was impressed. Would I trade my M109 for a vmax? You bethcha! Would I regret it, probably. Only thing, if you ever want to get over buyers remorse on the Vmax, just crack the throttle. As for the M109, if you have buyers remorse, clean it up and take a look back at it:drool:. No one has to know that 2nd gear could go out at any time;).

Does anyone know the size of the crush washer that's used at the final drive drain? The dealership is located far on the other side of town and I hope to be able to go to a parts store just a couple of blocks from work (where I'm at now). All of the threads that I've read show pictures and part numbers but no one gives a size. If I'd planned ahead, I would have brought the drain plug with me to work and taken it to the parts store. Oh, well. Hope someone knows the answer. Thanks. Oh, and I hope everybody enjoys this Memorial Day weekend ! Take a vet to lunch - or better yet buy him a beer! Semper Fi!

With that being said im not really in to bags although i have a pair of river roads i rarely put on. I tend to keep the back seat and sissy bar off. But i do need a little carrying space. Mainly for a Slime electric pump and a patch kit. Thinking about purchasing a small tank bag. Just big enough for emergencies and maybe one other thing. Anybody have one?, thoughts? Dont wont to take away from the 9's look but dont wont to be stuck in Bum F**K Egypt with a flat either. Thanks gang.
