What's up Sly Dog!
I just ordered a new back tire from Motorcycle Superstore, Dunnie E250. I will need help getting the back wheel off so I can take it over to MTC to get the new tire mounted. That shouldn't take too much of your time, except I'm pretty worthless mechanically, so it may turn out to be a big job..... :D :joke: Would you be up for that?

Sure, give me a few days "heads up" for a time slot. You got a bike jack? I don't like using a regular floor jack to take off tires, even with a plywood support under the frame. I have a bike jack if you don't. My house or your house, lets get'er done either way.

MTC also will jack your bike and remove/replace/reinstall last time I checked..... for a nominal/largeish fee... :P

Yeah, last time I left my old honda over there they kept it for almost three months! :o I couldn't go that long without my 9. I don't have a bike jack but I don't want to take up your garage space either. Whatever works, I'll let you know, thanks man. :bigthumbsup:

Sly, ready to order some lowering bones but have a question, weighing in at 260 am I going to have issues scraping if I go with a 2.75" or should I be looking at 2.25" :dontknow:

it figures there sly that u would beat me to the punch. i was just telling my wife Angela last night as we were drilling out the baffles about doing the tony mod with maybe some LEDs since i wanted to light up the nine any way.

oh well I'm sure we wont have the same patterns.

n-e-way i was wandering on the whole drilling out the back plate. I'm guessing you just drill out at the welds with a big hole saw or something but isn't there some tack welds around each baffle plate that i drilled out that would have to broke lose for the inner pipe to come out or am i over thinking it?

Thanks Sly, I'll order the 2.25" bones then I'm on to the pipes going to need someone with some experience :D and the right tools :D Doing some work on my brothers bike today and thinking about debevering the rear on mine just need to run down and pick up some aluminum or stainless to mount the plate and turn signals.

hey thanks for that info. i will go look at that right now and see if i have a hole saw big enough and something to pop the welds, otherwise i will let u know and maybe take u up on the offer.

I got all three out. i ran it and i think it might be a liitle louder but not much. my wife can tell a difference but she says now it sounds like i have a leak. i do notice when it is still cold it will have a little whistle until it warmed up. i'm guessing that will go away when i gut it.

btw i got my jsd-m3 installed also.

Ok just checked and i :edit: out of luck. the biggest one i have is 2 1/2"

You notice any better throttle control/smoother low speed control? We did the PC3's and JSD-3M's at the same time so I am interested if you noticed anything ?..... other than you are able to go 145MPH now :evil:

I would have to say yes to the better throttle control/smoother low speed control and beleive it or not cuz i know it shouldnt have anything to do with it but shifting was smoother in lower gears also.
