I posted this on another thread, but wanted to re-post to introduce myself to everyone.

Hey Y'all,

I just returned to Utah (American Fork) and I have an '06 109 - blurple. Got a note from fatty stuck on my bike at the BYU game yesterday like a bumper sticker or something. At first I was ticked at someone for trashin' up my bike, but when I saw that it was a note from Fatty I was pumped up about it. I actually bought my 109 through a contact on this board down in Houston. Anyway, I am glad to be here where the ridin' is more enjoyable. It is gettin' kinda cold for me to do much ridin', but I'm looking forward to doing some with fellow 109'ers. I have only seen 1 other 109 since I moved back, and it is gettin' kinda lonesome out there. Thanks to fatty for reminding me about this site and motivating me to come back to it.

I am fixin' to get a windshield for my bike. Anyone have good experience with anything that works well for the 109? I don't have a big budget, just a big need.

Anyway, I am looking forward to meeting and ridin' with y'all.

Sweeeeet!!

Another Blurple 109!! I am up north a bit around Ogden/ Layton. It will be great to meet you. The Utah Chapter is by far one of the best for quality peeps.

Welcome again!

Tbug. Glad to hear that my note got to you...sorry to give you a bit of a scare. I have seen your bike at the games a couple of times but never had a card on me. well anyway, welcome back to Utah and let's get a ride in before we freeze. I am still riding the bike into work but 30 degrees + 90 MPH + 30 min = some cold claws. perhaps an afternoon ride this saturday would be in order

Fatty,

Saturday would be great if the weather holds, but unfortunately I got a thing that day. We're definitely runnin'out of time, though so we need to keep trying to find something that will work. I haven't been riding to work. 14 years in Texas + weather below 65 degrees + me = too dang cold! But an afternoon ride would be great if we can get one more in before winter really hits.

hey Tbug, you going to the BYU TCU game tonight? I'll be taking my bike, you should as well. It would be great to meet you. my num is 801.361.1959 I noticed your exhaust isn't drilled yet. if you want, you can hear my pipes and see if it is something you want to do...it makes it sound MUCH meaner.
