I think I may have read this on here before, but anywhere, here is the link to the news. I know the one at my work, if I don't have a car in front of me, it won't ever change, so I just run it anyway. :

Heres a little trick I learned, and theres only one red light in Chas. I can't trigger.
Find some old PC hard drives, and tear 'em apart. On the disc drive there should be one or sometimes two half moon shaped chrome like magnets.Remove 'em,and put one on each side under youre 109 on the plate that covers your shock underneath. You don't need glue or tape cause they're friggin strong. Most of the time it takes a pocket screw driver or etc. to pry them off.
When you get 'em on,next time you pull up to a light, pull long ways over the sensor line in the road.Should trigger it every time.
There are alot of sites that sell these under different names, but thats all they are(magnets).
Good luck,and ride safe. Ken

If you guy would just call the government agency that takes care of the light (city, county, state) and tell them you ride a bike they can adjust the sensor. Its not allways the size. We had one that we kept getting complaints about & every time we checked it was working fine. Then one day we got a call and the guy told us he drove a cement truck & it would not change for him. So we went and waited for a big truck to stop on the sensor and when one did guess what,no call on the controller. We found out that it was not picking up big trucks(dumptrucks, semi, cement and so on).We made adjustments and have had no more problems. Like I said its not allways the size or how much metal.Give them a call

I am going to install the magnet, I have two just sitting, err, clinging in the garage.

If they would just make them weight sensitive there would be no issue, R2 (my 9, the wife insists on naming ALL our vehicles) and I tip the scale at over 1000lbs on the road. :D

If I'm reading the vote correctly it passed. This link shows that it passed in the House and Senate and it was signed by the Governor on July 23rd.

I understand everyones frustration with this but the safest solution is to turn right then do a "U" turn then go right again if the intersection allows it. Or just do what you are going to do. This is my practice anyways.

Same here if I can't trigger it.The last thing I want is to get a ticket for doing a "U" turn in the road.JMO Of course---Ken
