Hey guys, I just got my 109r last week and i'm still not even halfway through the break-in period. I was just curious who you guys use for maintenance? I could always just go to the stealership, but I don't want to take a chance of them over filling it.
Also I used royal purple in my cars/sportbikes, how do you think the V-twin will like it? K&N Filter and Royal Purple oil :)
Thanks fellas

I do my own maintenance and I use Amsoil. I have notice easier shifts and a smoother running driveline since switching.

I know this may sound harsh , but I trust the service dept. @ action zuk in mesquite . They haven't caused me to question anything yet .

Mesquite! eek, I'm in Denton, I bought my bike in Fort Worth though, I'm not sure the rep of the dealers here!
Shock, how much will you charge me to break in service? I'm not sure what all it service consits of. We'll order some pizza and get some beer :)

They want you to do the brakes and some other things like that. I don't like to do the brakes. There are a couple of places that I like that aren't too far for me. Suzuki West is down in Fort Worth and Arlington Motorsports is in Arlington. I know the owner's of the Arlington location so I take it there for anything major.

I've used Yamaha Suzuki West for the recall and a couple other warranty issues. So far I have NOT been impressed. The fuel recall was no big deal and that went smoothly. The other issues were either deemed as "not covered by the warranty" or "no problem could be found". I disagree with both results but they wouldn't budge from their position. The guys there are nice as can be, maybe it's just my luck...or something!?
