I know that this has been done before however i did not find anything recent and i did this mod a few days ago and wanted to share. This looks so good when finished and unless your a 9 rider you will not find the ignition.

1. Measure and dremel the key. I got a spare key cut and removed most of the top part of the key. Using a stock grip end cap dremel out the inner portion to enable sliding the cut key into place. Dry mount to ensure you have a flush fit. I used J+B Weld inside the center of the end cap and inserted the cut key. Ensure that it is set level and leave to cure for 24hours. Once set the J+B weld is good to a temp of 600F.

2. The key once cured.

3. Stock ignition set up

4. Chrome hidden key in place

5. Finished set up

Not a big job but along with the dipstick mod looks so much better....Enjoy!

Hey that looks familiar! Just make sure you try it in the has cap before you go too far. Mine won't work in the gas cap.

People have also used a chrome toilet bowl bolt cover piece also for this mod. I have this mod listed in the Bang for the Bucks mod thread. But thanks for the update and pics.
