HID install, where to get power?

just wondering where to pick up power since the wires are to short, extend them to the battery or pick something up in the headlight shroud?

my buddy gave me his extra kit from his vtx

I extended my wires back to the battery and connected them to my distribution block.

Well you don't have to have one. Just make sure you have an inline fuse near the battery. I got a distribution block so I wouldn't have a bunch of wires attached to my battery.

i would also like not to have a bunch of wires hooked up to the battery.. i like easy to service not quick to get done..
