We have a crew headed down late on Thursday. Not displaying this year, but we have had customers asking about installs for the Power-Puc wheel lighting systems. Figured we'd do 3 or 4 to help pay for the trip at the house we've rented. So if anyone is interested, book now. Otherwise, we will be out riding and actually enjoying this event instead of working 12-14 hour days like usual. Want to check out the new venue at the boardwalk parking lot as well. Burger King is the place to meet. See ya'll there:bigthumbsup:

Just made it down here about 9pm. The last hour of the drive was very tough to keep my eyes open. Unloaded the bikes, came in the house now in bed. My ass is beat. Temp is a cool 52* right now in Bethany.
Tomorrow is a new day, I will be riding all day:D

Depends on how bad you want to ride. Don't wanna hear no bitchin that you hauled your bike all that way and had to sit around inside mom's house posting on forums.internetracer

Not bad enough to risk my life or my bike.

:agree: with Big-B. IMO there is nothing worst than having to ride in the rain. I don't have rain gear and is simply because I know that if there are clouds or rain in the forecast, I will not ride. I will eventually have to get some rain gear because in Belgium if you wait for the rain to stop, you will never do anything, so now I am being forced into always being prepared.

Yeah, Friday was a good day for riding! Enjoyed it while it lasted.
Saturday! Well! A wash out! No punn intended. I do have rain gear but the way it was pouring! To dangerous.
Sunday! Rain has let up! Windy out, gonna try and make up for Saturday, so we're gonna visit 1 last venue at the end next to the boardwalk. Then hit the road.

I was down from Thursday thru Sunday. Stayed on 70th street. Seen some 9's running around. I seen about eight different M109Rs running around.
Thursday was nice once we got down. Put about 70 miles and and checked out Winter Park Place. Most of the vendors wasn't even set up yet, hit a small patch of rain but avoided most of it. Hit up Fish Tales Thursday night in the 30 mph winds.
Friday was a good day. Sunshine was nice but it was chilly out. Hit some of the places along the Costal Highway. Road up to Rehoboth Beach and back and it was chilly out. We decided to ride out to Purdue Stadium and while on the way out, my friend Jake picked a screw up in his front tire. We left him along the highway while we rode back to get the truck and trailer. While we were gone, 4 cops and 1 biker stopped to make sure they were okay. Another lady in a car stopped and said her husband had a bike shop about 3 miles away. We loaded up and went there. It was a shop in the middle of nowhere. The guy who owned it, Dave, was a super nice guy. We got the tube changed (it was a spoked Harley rim) and he did charge us $90 to change it but it saved us an hour trip one way to the Harley dealer and $4.50 a beer night!!
Saturday was a crap shoot. We headed out to check out the vendors and got stuck in the rain. We ended up at Pickles Pub for a little bit and then hit up the Brass Balls Saloon for lunch. After that we rode the 60 blocks back to the hour in the pouring down rain and it wasn't fun at all. We headed out in the Hummer for dinner that night.
All in all it was a good trip. Got to put about 150 miles on the bike. And I was off work Thursday, Friday and today for it.
On another not, my buddy Al was down on his street glide. Picked up a rock between the belt and pulley and split his belt in half. Had to trailer it to the Harley shop in Seaford to get it fixed. $185 for the belt and $300 labor to fix. OUCH!!!
