Having picked up a barely used Tomtom One GPS for $25 to use on the 9, I needed a mount. Not one to do things the easy way, I decided to craft my own.
Starting with a 1" Millers clamp (used to attach mirrors to 1" bars) that I had and a Ram snap mount for the GPS, I made an aluminum plate to mate the 2 together.
I milled the mirror boss off the Millers clamp to get a flat surface and drilled/tapped 2 - 4mm holes. I made a plate from 3/16" aluminum to tie the clamp to the Ram mount. With some shaping the plate makes a decent transition from the clamp to the mount. A little sanding and polishing and presto chango it works.
