Hey guys,
Yesterday (Sunday) I went on a ride up in Maine for a friend whos father passed away. It was a great day and a great turnout but I have to tell you the best part of all. I knew from that start that it was going to be a great day....... the first thing I did when i got to the meeting place was help this one guy bump start his HARLEY! Then, at our next stop I had to yet again bump start another, you guessed it HARLEY! (different bike) And finally on the way home I stopped to fuel up in Exeter and what did I see at that gas station but a poor old couple on a HARLEY needing a bump start. So I willingly helped out as a group of people gathered around my 9 and started pondering all of the questions that they wanted to ask about it. Do you guys find that HARLEYS stopp running as soon as you show up with your 9? Almost as if they are throwing in the towel!

I'm sure that most bikers would have helped independent of what you ride, but some HD dealers will leave you stranded on the road, I heard with my own ears, "We don't service jap's bikes"...:o
There's plenty of good guys on Hds and there is a-holes too but hey this is true in any segment of society.Nice of you helping them out, I know I would.

Good story....I have found that when I stop along the side of the road to have a cigar and take in the beauty of this great country...9 out of 10 bikes will stop to ask if I need help...and yes some are Harley's. Much less cars will stop to ask...maybe because all they see is a biker...not the sweet a$$ed motorcyclist I am ;)

What part of ME was the ride? I rode solo to Beech Ridge Motor Speedway.

And it was a dry ride??? RAINED like hell here Saturday, could not paint our football field! Thanks for giving the followers help. Because if we were followers, we'd all be on HD's:o But instead were leaders, and make our own decisions. Thats why are few:bigthumbsup:
