I am not so computer savy, so I just pasted one of the post that we have going on the North Carolina/South Carolina site. Thought I would see if some of you guys would be intersted in meeting up with us. If so, please post up on the NC/SC section. Thanks and ride safe. Hope to see some of you.
Seems like we are leaning towards the two wheel inn. This is located only about 18 miles from the dragon, and many more riding locations. The rooms sleep 2 and run $69 a night. You also get a 6'x14' garage to keep your bike close by. A leave date would be on Sept. 11th around 8:00am and return on Sept. 13. I think in order to not be too tired, we may need to make this a 3 day trip (one to ride up, one to ride while we are there, and one to ride back). If we go with this plan, we need to make reservations by August 9th that way we can get a count and a block or rooms. You will find the two wheel inn on the Tail of the Dragon web site. Let me know what you think.
PS: I would also like to know how many plan on driving up, and who might be trailoring.
