New member, on a waiting list!!

So with tax season this year, and about 6 months of back pay from the military i decided to buy a second bike, i own a gsxr and its not something the wife and i can go on a joy ride with.. for very long.

i was flipping through a bike magazine in the throne room one day and what did i see.. a suzuki m90! when i had returned from the army this time last year i went and sat on a 109.. and quickly realized it was just too frackin big for me, so i was stoked to hear about the m90.

so last friday i rode down to the ONLY suzuki dealer in the 50mile area that had one on the floor. and OMG was it sweet, fit me great (5'9") only problem was it was blue.. not knockin it.. but i wanted black. so i talked to the sales guy and got my name in on a list, to call me asap when a black one rolls in. i was already sold on the bike,.. then he quoted me $9700, i lost my poker face and bout shat a brick!!!

its been only a few days now and im going insane!! somebody hijack a truck and make my delivery tomorrow!!!

your 5'9" and the 9 is too big for you? dude, im 5'6" and i dont think its too big for me. and i came off of a gixxer

you can lower the 9 to make it fit you better. with some of the deals their making on 9s now you can get one for a couple hundred bucks more. just some ideas to bounce off you. hate to see somebody get the smaller bike and wish they wouldve gotten the bigger one a few days later. but it would be bad to get more bike than you can handle if its too big for you.

it just felt all wrong to me.. i didnt have much exp on a cruiser and on top or that the 109 just dwarfed me in every way,.. i didnt want to buy something i was uncomfortable with.

:welcome: to the forum. Hope you get that Black M90 soon. I'd periodically call the dealer to check the status of a Black M90 coming in. It's not beyond them to sell a bike from under you, if there is a buy on their premises. Just something to think about.

Sounds like your a little worried about the power of the 9 so its probably good that you got the slower colored M90. Some people can't handle the speed and power of the Blue :bigthumbsup:

yeah I cant handle the boredom of the blue I would fall asleep riding it thats why I have the fastest color RED!!!
