I am running a Metzler 280 :bigthumbsup: not on a standard 8.5 rim tho',i have a 10" replicator :D

There is never much input on the UK section :dontknow: possibly because there are not many 109's over here

You could be right there, getting to see more about as time goes on and there are more mods available this year over here.

Put new rubber on the bike yesterday what a difference to the handling I did not realise the old tyres had got that bad ,the sun was out today so I had to go and brake them in :D 8)

The sun was out on saturday :o so i went out in my Boxster convertible with the roof down :bigthumbsup: probably the only chance i'll get this year.
I think next sunday if it ain't raining i will go to the World famous Ace Cafe

Boxster nice car :drool:. Ok we will let you off this time but don't do it again;). Ace Cafe, I will have to get my ass up there this year I keep saying it. I am off to Plymouth this weekend cant take the bike :-[ will have to take C4 not quite the same as a Boxster:doh::D

I have put on 250 without any trouble,you can go to a 260 but personally I would not go any bigger on stock rims because you pull the wall of the tyre in. But that's just my opinion
Has anyone fitted bigger than 260 on stock rims?:dontknow:

Hi all..........re tyres, I have a 280 Metz on a stock rim....
Came with the bike, put about 300 miles on it since with no problems.
Handles fine, (if a bit strange after 2yrs riding a Sprint!), and no signs of any abnormal wear patterns.

I've read all the posts on here for and against but can only go by my own experience.

That said, when its due for a change I'm going the Dunlop 250 route :bigthumbsup:
