Question about AZ

hey all you out there in warm AZ. quick question for you all... do any of you have any info or know anyone i could ask about maricopa, az? not maricopa county, the city of maricopa. wife and i possibly looking to buy 2nd/vacation/investment property in the Phoenix area and there are tons of deals with all the short sales and foreclosures around there. from what i've read it was just starting to take off as a town when the sub-prime mess hit and it now in a stall. do you all think that area will turn around and rebound to become a decent area when the economy eventually comes back?

any insight or general AZ real estate advice welcome. :bigthumbsup:
